The 2011 Wimbledon tennis tournament will continue with televised and online coverage this weekend. Both the Men’s and Women’s Singles tournaments will be featured with action streaming live online. Viewers can select between courts or games of their choice.
Already in men’s action, Andy Roddick has been eliminated from the tournament on the men’s side. Roddick lost on Friday to Feliciano Lopez in straight sets. Top-ranked stars, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, are both still in the competition at this stage. Meanwhile, Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sharapova have advanced for the women and will continue playing on in Wimbledon. Serena and Venus Williams are both still competing in Wimbledon as well, so it should be an interesting remainder of the tournament.
This weekend 2011 Wimbledon tennis continues with early round coverage of Day 6 of the tournament presented by IBM. Saturday, June 25th will feature live streaming online video coverage from ESPN3 website. The coverage will begin at 7AM EST with a choice of Court 12, Court 14, Court 2 or Maria Sharapova vs Klara Zakopalova. Court 1 and Centre Court matches will be available for viewing at 8AM EST on the web service.
There are no games scheduled for online coverage on Sunday, but they will resume on Monday, July 27th at 7AM. Several of the games scheduled for Monday may be subject to blackout. There will be various courts viewable at 7AM, 8AM and 1PM EST on ESPN3.
